A Super Superhero Party
Cake, balloons, a few fun friends and a superhero family… Those are the ingredients for a super awesome party!
We couldn’t invite many people and we were fortunate that the sun was shining bright so that we could be outside the whole time.
Leo has been looking forward to his birthday since last year. He was the one who told the whole family which superhero they will dress up as.
Leo was spiderman (the Avengers version), Natey was captain America, Marcus was Thor and I was Black Widow. The oupas and oumas were Cat-woman, Stan Lee, Captain Marvel, Batman, Storm and Captain Covid. Linley was Scarlett Witch.
We ate some spit-braaied skaapboud, stamptert (thank you, Captain Marvel) and salad. We made superhero popcorn for the kids and everyone ate some cake for pudding.
Superhero Party Games: I made up silly “missions” which the kids had to do. They really enjoyed it. They had to stand so that Scarlett Witch could scan them. (Actually take a photo.) They had to show Cat-Woman some jungle gym skills. They had to find a rock in the secret garden and exchange it with Captain Marvel and Batman for a fiery sparkle. They had to catch a ball thrown by Stan Lee. Lastly, they had to ask Thor for bombs which they had to pop. Inside the black balloon (bomb) was a golden coin and a clue(picture of a place in our garden) to where a prize was hidden.

Dit lyk so lekker , uit ‘n ander wereld, weg van al die krisisse wat om ons aangaan. Net om na die foto’s te kyk het my feestelik laat voel. Jou twee seuntjies is baie bevoorreg om so ‘n wonderlike familie te he, jul is spesiaal.
