Stove, Oven, Pot, oven-safe glass dish/tray
Ready-made Puff Pastry
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 egg yoke
1 punnet chopped chicken breasts
250mls cream or plain yoghurt (healthier alternative)
Knorr’s Chicken & Mushroom Pan dry cook-in-sauce powder
Garlic & chilli-flakes are optional
Mixture of chopped vegies (I like green peppers, butternut, patty-pans, mushrooms)
Brown onion in pot in olive oil. Add garlic. Add chicken pieces. Add cream and Knorr powder. Add vegies. Simmer on medium heat until vegies are soft.
Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees celsius.
Pour mixture in oven-safe dish. Cover mixture with puff pastry. Use fork to crimp edge of pastry and poke holes in pastry. Its fun to decorate pie with any remaining pastry. Use yoke to egg-wash pastry.
Bake for about 15-20mins or until pastry is golden brown.
