Water of the Unconscious – Week 6
Water is one of the most common and powerful symbols in dreams.
In the work of Carl Jung, water is often linked to the emotional and unconscious parts of the psyche. The parts of us that are felt rather than thought.
The state of the water matters.
Calm, clear water can reflect a sense of peace or emotional clarity.

Rough, stormy water may point to overwhelm, stress, or strong emotions.
Deep or dark water can suggest something unknown or not yet fully understood within you.
Being in the water, watching it, or being swept by it can all carry different meanings, depending on how it feels in the dream.
A question to ask yourself:
What did the water feel like?
Dreams often speak through emotion (more than logic.)
So when water appears, it may be your inner world showing you something about how you are feeling beneath the surface.
