Meow You Have a Happy Birthday

A little birdie told me it’s your birthday… So I ate it! – A Cat somewhere

Since he was born, Leo has liked cats! We’ve never had a cat. We’re not particularly fond of cats. We always encourage Chilli and Rexi to chase the cats that come into our yard. The cats are always much faster… Except for one time… But we don’t talk about that time in any detail.

So, it wasn’t a big surprise when Leo chose to have a birthday cake in the shape of a cat this year. Instead of a big party, we had a sleepover with three friends. The cat cake was rainbow inside!

We’ve been celebrating Leo’s birthday for the whole of July! Ouma Jane was here, we had the sleepover, building of the lego present and then going to Mauritius! Mauritius is actually part of Oup and Dakkie’s 60th birthday celebrations, but Leo got so much attention there, he assumed the holiday was for his birthday. He asked: “Where are we going for Natey’s birthday in September!?” Big expectations!

Thank you for all the birthday love, singing and messages! Really appreciated! xxx
