Nathan and the Ninja Chicken

“Cockadoodledoo! Good morning to you!” That is the sound a normal rooster might make. “Cocka-doo-kung-fu! You mess with me, I kick you!” That is the cry of Cuckoo.

I’ve been having lots of fun exploring book writing this year!

Introducing my 3rd children’s book to the world… Nathan and the Ninja Chicken.

I’ve been kicked blue by our rooster, Cuckoo, multiple times! He is the reason I bought gumboots! The rest of the family and some brave friends have also been kicked. Cuckoo is crazy, but he’s not too bad once you understand him. (And hear about all he has been through.)

Nathan chose to have a ninja party this year and that got me thinking of this book idea.

The synopsis… It’s breakfast time and Nathan is hungry. He knows the hens in the chicken coup would have laid some eggs but to get to the eggs is not that easy. The coup is guarded by… The Ninja Chicken! It’s a fun, light-hearted book for children to enjoy.
