Chocolate Biscuit Squares
“You’re so sweet you’re going to give me tooth cavities!”-unknown
These are the chocolate squares you usually find in school tuck-shops and at cake sales. Our cafeteria at varsity also sold them. If you are in the mood for something chocolatey and sweet these are the treats you need. And they are really easy to make!

Chocolate Marie Biscuit Squares
You need:
Large mixing bowel (microwave safe)
Oven/baking Tray
1 packet of Marie Biscuits (200g)-crushed
250g butter
500g icing sugar
1 beaten egg
3mls vanilla essence
1/2 cup cocoa
Method
Melt butter in microwave. Add icing sugar and cocoa and mix well. Add egg and vanilla essence and mix well. Add crushed biscuits and mix. Press mixture flat onto prepared baking tray about 1.5 cm thick. Put in fridge. Cut into squares and enjoy. Store in air-tight container in fridge.
