Play with Your Food – Creativity Challenge Week 2
Back in the day children were taught not to play with their food. Now research suggests that playing with food is actually good for children because it makes them less fussy eaters. Our creativity theme for this week was “play with your food.” I loved what everyone came up with.
Ha, ha, look! Even the birds were creative with their food by carving this laughing apple!
Scroll to the end of this post for Week 3’s theme. If you missed it, here’s the link to Week 1 Noticing Nature.
“Dear Mom and Dad, stop telling me not to play with my food. You spent the first 2 years of my life convincing me that it was a plane.”
This week was a fun week being creative while playing with food. I enjoyed it and hope you did too.
Here is the theme for Week 3:
Moon
We will be ending this week with a full moon so do look up at the sky and find the moon. Remember you can interpret the topic in your own way. You can write something, paint, draw or take a photo…whatever comes to you.
