Doggy Treats
So after the previous good response to the first post of our boston puppies, I decided to put a few more pics of them up. (At bottom of this post)
They are now 6 months old and can already do quite a few tricks… They are so eager to do tricks, when you say “sit” they tend to get too excited and do a sit-high five-lie down-roll over all in one hoping for more treats! It’s so amusing!
Our pups are a bit weird because they do tricks for dog pellets, cucumber, apples, carrots…almost anything. So doggy treats are just an extra bonus. Sometimes I buy ready made ones and sometimes I make my own. Here’s the recipe I use: they are way healthier than human treats!
Doggy Treats Recipe
1 cup oats
1 and 3/4 cups whole wheat flour
2 medium eggs
1 tsp chicken or beef stock dissolved in 1/2 cup of warm water
(You can add bacon or chicken pieces if you want to)
Add all ingredients together and mix to form a dough. Press flat and use cookie cutter to make shapes or just cut into squares. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 30mins.
Here are some boston photos:
