After a hearty breakfast this morning with family we are now chilling in the Slow Lounge (thanks to FNB) waiting for our flight. They have these awesome blue cupcakes here (they call them blue velvets). I’m having kiwi cucumber & mint flavoured ice tea and Marc is having a lemongrass coconut & ginger flavoured tea. This lounge is pretty awesome!

We have our Bolivian visas in our passports. We have our vaccination book up to date. You have to have yellow fever vaccination (lasts 10 years), typhoid (lasts 5 years) and hepatitis A vaccine (lasts 3 years). Marc also got an international driver’s license- not sure if we will be using it, but we have it if we need one. We exchanged some Rands for American dollars. One dollar costs just over R10!

I thought i would make myself smell better for the flight by trying some of the perfumes at the duty-free store but now I reek of sweet roses! Eish!

South America here we come!
